A Date a Month - Jeff's Christmas Present

So....I started thinking about what to get Jeff for Christmas quite some time ago. I ran across this idea on pinterest that showed a "date night" Christmas gift and I thought it was an amazing idea. Jeff and I always enjoy our date nights....but when we get a sitter we usually fallback on the same date every time.

This year, I planned 12 dates (one per month)and I paid for them too! I put each month in an envelope, along with the gift cards, money, and trinkets from the date destination spots! It took a gazillion hours to plan all of the dates, and took quite a bit of time to run around the entire St. Louis area collecting all of the goodies. But it was so worth it! And the best news? I get to enjoy this gift just as much as he does!

Two of the months were bank busters - March and November (well worth it!) - but the rest were all around $50 and under (although October has the possibility of spending quite a bit - but we have time to save up for that!). Many of these dates feature "new" for us places!

Our 15th wedding anniversary is this month and I am treating us to a photo session (just the two of us!). It was WEIRD hiring a photographer!! But I wanted a real shoot, instead of me putting my camera on a tripod. ;-)
